Carnie stands about 3 inches tall and packs quite a punch. He sits on my desk to inspire me, and within his rugged shape he has one lovely smooth groove, which I rub when I need an extra boost of creativity.

Chrysocolla

This is my newest stone.
I just love how the malachite shows through, like islands in a blue sea. My son said it looks like the corner of a map...
It has this beautiful polished surface, but underneath is rough and you can really feel the brittle nature of the chrysocolla.
